jobs that i want or would be really good at

websurfer for yahoo!--ok this was and is still my dream job. what more could you want from a job? i sent them my resume twice: first when i was a senior in college and was looking for jobs; and then again when i moved out to california, since i was sure that they were just waiting for me to move out here to give me a call so they wouldn't have to pay for a cross-country trip just to interview me. i *never* got a call from them. which totally baffles me since it's a job that i am obviously over-qualified for. not to mention the fact that they seem to have a pretty high turn-over rate. i mean what the hell? they would be lucky to have me as an employee. but i was talking to my current boss who had the good sense to hire me and he says that yahoo pays shit money, so that's why they have such a high turn-over. which made me feel better that they never called, but i still sorta think they're stupid for not. i woulda been the biggest champion of yahoo! i'd wear t-shirts and pass out promo stuff, just cuz i think it's such a great company.

television analyst--so i watch a lot of tv. but not in any sort of "shut off your brain and just watch" way. i find it really fascinating. you know, ani says in one of her songs "art may imitate life; but life imitates tv" and i think it's sorta true. i think that good or bad, people learn a lot about life from watching tv. and ya know, maybe it's really the reverse, maybe tv is really a reflection of life. but watching it can sure give you a good idea of what the big wigs over in hollywood want you to think life is all about. and you can get a really good idea of what kind of social trends are out there. now i don't know if this is a real job or not. but if it was, i would kick ass at it.

cult leader--seriously, if "most likely to be a cult leader" was ever a category, i would definitely be picked for it. i dunno. i just seem to be really good at getting people excited about things. oh yeah and brainwashing. i'm pretty good at that too. (please bury all of your money in your backyard and email me your address and i'll be contacting you shortly.)

tv writerafter countless hours of watching tv, i am sure that i would be superduper ruling at this. and tv writers make an insane amount of money. not that i'm all about money or anything but if you could be really ruling at something that was totally fun, and get paid a buttload of money...well, isn't that what we all dream about?

academic ghostwriteri just saw this ad posting for this job on craigslistand i thought it sounded pretty cool. i mean i'm not exactly sure what an academic ghostwriter does, but i'm assuming it's like write academic papers for someone else. anyway, i sent them my resume. who could be more qualified than me? well, i guess pretty much anyone who went to college. but i actually like doing research and writing papers. i'm sorta hoping that it's like one of those places that you see advertised in the back of rolling stone that are like "we have over 50,000 term papers!!!" that would kinda rule.

stock masterok so i'm definitely into the idea of making money for not doing anything. who isn't?? and i've just been reading this book called "a girl needs cash" and it makes investing not seem so intimidating. it would be really nice to get really good at investing and not *have* to work. then i could have time to figure out what it is that i really want to do with my life; then go ahead and do it.

um yeah so that's all the jobs that i can think of right now. how lame is that? and what's really lame is that none of these have anything to do what i'm doing right now.
